A spoon for those
with arthritis.

Everyday tasks can be very difficult for those with arthritis. The act of grasping a spoon to eat can leave one in pain and not able to finish their meal. This spoon design attempts to improve this experience.

The design aims to keep the hand and joints more open, eliminating the need to clench one’s hand into a fist. Through a series of sketching, 3D modelling and testing, the shape and size was decided upon.
